I thought about it after reading your comment. I currently don't have much time for it but I'll keep it in mind Btw, I did another drawing about Celestia's 'height problems': moemneop.deviantart.com/art/Ce…
It makes you wonder if Princess Celestia is actually a horse or not considering she's about 3 average adult ponies high. I know Alicorns are supposed to be tall, but it does make you wonder. It makes me wonder.
Well... let's just say that she's the size of an average horse here around 6-7 feet tall), and assume everyone else is around 4 feet tall as adults. They are ponies after all... not legit horses as her.
That's a really good question, but like her origin, we'll probably never get an answer to it ^^. Maybe alicorns are neither pony nor horse, but something completely different... who knows, more space for creative theories xD
Could I use the vector of her in this artwork to show her growing though and smashing though the roof of her castle as a giant? It's part of a parody of the Brave Little Taylor story I'm working on were a common Earth pony named Lotto. is trying to court her. But the whole classic story line of the peasant pony getting to court the princess gets for stopping the giant tearing up the kingdom gets flipped around were the Princess he is trying to court is the one tearing up the kingdom.
That sounds interesting You may use her if you credit me. Here is a high-res Celestia without background: sta.sh/01yl37zdy9yz There is just one problem: I didn't draw a few parts of her body, but I could do that I, if you like
I've always questioned the physical height of alicorns. Even Twilight, I've started to notice that she's a few inches taller now as an alicorn then when she was a unicorn. Hmm... Hasbro needs to make a boring, Nat'l Geographic-esque documentary about alicorn anatomy, their origins, and possible genetic similarities/contrasts to other Equine denominations.
I once thought about their similarities to giraffes. I think an alicorn's neck is about half as long as a giraffe neck... But what if there are gireffe-alicorns, how long would their neck be?.. I should just stop thinking and start hoping for such a documentary -.-
